- Copying Music from Notator-X to Music-X

- At the time of writing the Music-X 2.0 Addendum manual, this function
- had not been finished. So following is the operating instructions for
- the "Copy From Notator-X" module.

- The Notator-X tracks can be copied and converted to Music-X events
- directly without any disk saving if both programs are resident in memory.

- To copy Music-X data to Notator-X, refer to the Notator-X user's manual.

- In the Sequence Page of Music-X, a new menu option has been added in the
- Modules menu. This is named "Copy From Notator-X". When selected a
- requestor will appear displaying a list of the Notator-X tracks and
- Music-X sequences. If Notator-X is not resident in memory, then a warning
- message will be displayed.

- To Copy a track from Notator-X

- 1. Select the Notator-X track by clicking on its name from the list.
- The track number will be printed at the bottom of the requestor.

- 2. Select the Music-X sequence where the Notator-X track is to be
- stored. This number will also be displayed at the bottom of the
- requestor.

- 3. Select the "Copy" button at the right. The data will be converted
- and stored in the specified Music-X sequence. Once copied, the
- track name will be printed in the Music-X sequence list.

- Alternativly, to copy all tracks:

- 1. Simply select the "Copy All" button, located at the bottom right
- of the requestor and all the Notator-X tracks containing events
- will be copied to the Music-X sequences.

- Once completed, select the "OK" button, and you will be returned into
- the Music-X Sequencer Page display.
